 Before your mouth over waters and you and your partner look at the clock and discover it is nearly 9pm and you are still looking at your eatery options and just simply cannot make up you mind, lets talk about the history of Cherry Creek.  The neighborhood is located near the geographic center of the City and County of Denver and is a mixture of dense urban development and tree lined residential streets. And there is innovative new construction going on with new luxury high-rise condo’s being built and a stylish new boutique hotel going in.

Two major commercial centers exist in Cherry Creek along the major traffic route. First is an upscale, enclosed shopping mall, the Cherry Creek Shopping Center, which anchors the neighborhood. Second, the main shopping district of Cherry Creek North is also located in the hub of Cherry Creek and surrounded by chic residential living.

The neighborhood takes its name from the nearby Cherry Creek running along the south side of the neighborhood. Denver was first settled along the confluence of the South Platte River and Cherry Creek. And for that casual business meeting, Perfect Eats is a charming little lunch haunt, which is a great spot if you're in the market for a fresh salad with sandwich on just-baked bread. Denver's elevated namesake "The 5280," couples sliced beef tenderloin, savory balsamic caramelized onions and country mustard on a fresh hot rustic baguette. 

For three days during the July 4th holiday weekend since 1991, Colorado's signature cultural event, The Cherry Creek Arts Festival is presented in Denver's Cherry Creek North. This is no ordinary festival.  People flock from all over the world to this one festival. The arts festival is not only a world-class and award-winning celebration of the visual, culinary and performing arts and enjoys an annual attendance of 350,000 visitors, but the largest in the nation.  The Festival is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with the mission to provide art education and outreach programs in local area schools all year round.
